Even though 2020 did not allow us to enjoy our sunny-beach days, 2021 has finally gifted us what we craved for the past year. But are we ready for this summer? Maybe not. There’s a lot to prepare but not much time left.
When the climate heats up and moisture in the air rises, sebum accumulation in your face begins to expand. The oil that is naturally produced is trapped on the skin surface, which causes stickiness, fats, and closed pores.
Your skin would be super sensitive now since it didn’t experience much harshness these past few months. So it is our responsibility to render utmost care. But how are we going to do that? No worries, cause we have got your back. Below we have listed a few beauty tips for the upcoming summer and how you can enjoy your beach days without any tension on your mind.

1. DO NOT STEP-OUT WITHOUT APPLYING SUNSCREEN
It is essential to apply SPF making it the priority before applying some other skincare product. Apply a thin layer of sun protection specially tailored for facial use when using makeup and face powder. This will act as a barrier from UV rays.
You can also choose makeup products containing SPF. Substituting your face primer and makeup with an SPF moisturizer will help to mask and shield you from the sun. K-beauty successes such as BB and CC creams are strong contenders for the wall-down makeup technique.

2. NEVER FORGET TO KEEP YOUR SKIN HYDRATED
During the season, hydration is important at all moments. Since you are cleaning your face during the nights, for additional hydration during your sleep, you should use a face mask. Sprinkle your face regularly with water or bring your face nebula at daily intervals to refresh your eyes.

3. KEEP YOUR MAKEUP LIGHT
Thick makeup takes off the ability of the skin to breathe. Moisture and warmth also influence the capacity of the skin to relax. You should think of using a shaded lip baking and a tinted moisturizer rather than using full coverage foundations and other products.

4. LOOK AFTER YOUR DIET
Your water consumption in summers must be at least 2-3 liters a day. Coconut water, liquids, and fresh fruit juices are an excellent way of keeping them nourished. The body's natural toxins can also be flushed through potable water. Make additions to your regimen with yogurt and buttermilk.
Complete your diet with greens and veggies such as cucumber and spinach –which allow the body to keep cool from inside. Periodic fruits, such as grapefruits and melons, are also useful in keeping the skin fresh and healthy.

5. GO FOR EXFOLIATION FOR A BETTER SKIN
To clear extra oil and dirt from the face, use a facial scrub not more than 2 times a week. Just note that you should be using the skin style cleaner and softly rub the scrub in rotational motions. Please ensure the lips and necks are exfoliated as well.

It is always better to take precautions than regret later. Our skin is super sensitive during the summers and the increasing pollution and chemical products are making the situation worse. You can also opt for home remedies if you feel like your skin is getting way too exposed to harmful chemicals. But the most important thing here is to stay hydrated. Not only will it keep your body away from dehydration, but will duly kick the toxins out, making your skin look fresh and shiny.
