The most awaited festive season is arriving and it is the time to have all the delicious and lip-smacking snacks. On the occasion of Holi, many snacks are prepared like the most favorite Gujiyas, Mathis, Dahi Bhallas. One thing to know is that all these foods are fried and are loaded with lots of calories. We understand that it is very difficult to control yourself from eating them.
So, here we are with some essential dieting tips that may help you to stay Fit-Bit this Holi season!.
1. Limit your sugar intake.
You can now give a healthy twist to all these traditional sweet dishes by using jaggery for sweetening purposes.

Many dishes are made using oils, it is better to use some healthy oil like canola oil, olive oil. It is good for heart health and also decreases the level of cholesterol in our body. Although we should use oil in less quantity when it is necessary to use you should only use the healthy ones.

Sometimes we overeat, when we are surrounded by delicious sweets and it is difficult to control our craving. But, we must not do it not just during the festive season, but in general as well.
4. Take probiotics
You can consume yogurt to improve your digestion. Probiotics help in digesting these heavy traditional foods. For example, flavored yogurt and Yakult.
5. Burn calories
You should regularly workout and plan your diet accordingly. You should burn the calories gained by eating all the delicious snacks. If you are going to the gym, you can go twice a day to lose more calories per day or just simply walk or run in your neighborhood as well.
6. Hydrate yourself
You should drink lots of water and non-sugary fluids as it helps maintain electrolytes in the body and keep the body hydrated. You can replace the sugary drinks with fresh juices and coconut water.
