Kay Beauty Hydrating Foundation Review

Katrina Kaif’s beauty brand, Kay Beauty recently launched The Kay Beauty Hydrating Foundation that claims to be hydrating, feels lightweight on the skin, and gives a dewy finish to your face. The product has 20 shades for light skin tones, medium skin tones, tan skin tones, and deep skin tones. A great thing about this is that the shades are based on your undertones as well. Whether you have a pink undertone, a yellow undertone, or a neutral undertone, you will find your shade from this range!
Let’s start by talking about the packaging. The glass bottle that it comes in, looks sleek and has a “K” embossing on it. Because the bottle is transparent, you always have an idea of how much product is left in the bottle. Overall it looks very luxurious. The bottle also comes with a pump, which makes it easy to use, travel-friendly, and avoids product wastage.
Key ingredients of the foundation are – Avocado Butter that gives intense hydration, Mango Butter that provides deep moisturization, and Hyaluronic Acid that maintains the moisture and locks it in the skin making it plump and supple.
Review – This is a very lightweight foundation that glides easily on the skin. It does not make your face cakey and is comfortable for long wear. It is easily buildable and would not feel heavy or cause creases. But just like it mentions medium coverage, the coverage with one application is not that great. You will have to use a concealer and skin correct before using this foundation for a flawless base. If you have clear skin and don’t color correct it, and are looking for a lightweight everyday foundation you can give this a shot. The other claims that this foundation makes like dewy skin finish and high buildable coverage, are dolefully missing. But on a positive note, it is very hydrating and does not cause patchiness, and great for people who have dry and normal skin.
Positives:
· Provides Hydration
· Lightweight On Skin
· Easily Buildable
· Gives a Natural Finish
· Long-wear Foundation
· Cruelty-Free, Paraben and Paraffin Free, Vegan
Negatives:
· Pricy
· Does not give High Coverage
· Does not give a Dewy Effect as it claims
So that's all for this review. Hopefully this article will help you in making a decision if this foundation is worth your investment.
