Mumbai Saga is a Hindi language Crime=Action film directed by Sanjay Gupta. The movie was released on 19th March 2021 in India under the Production of T- series and White Feather Films. The producers of the movie are Bhushan Kumar, Anuradha Gupta, Krishna Kumar, and Sangeetha Ahir. The film has an ensemble cast of John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani, Mahesh Manjerekar, Pratiek Babbar, Samir Soni, Amole Gupta, and Gulshan Grover.
This movie is highly action-packed which was initially said to be similar to “ Shootout at Wadala” the second installment in the film series "Shootout" also starring John. But gracefully, the movie is based on a different plotline. The leading actors of the movie have maintained the supremacy of their characters by phenomenal acting. The move is based on the 1980s and 90s which chronicles the transformation of Bombay to Mumbai.
The crime drama shows the changing phase of the city as mills close down to make ways for malls and high-rise buildings. The story of the film goes where a common man living a simple life has his only goal to rule the city whereas his every plan is monitored by an inspector who keeps track of his every footstep. According to the reviews of the movie, the film is full of action drama, and violence. The director, and other staff along with the cast have worked hard to make this film wholesome. Needless to say, it’s a thumbs up for the movie plus it is also a one-time watch.
John Abraham who stars a lot in action movies is set to come out with another Action-Crime film. Reportedly, the sequel of the film “Satyameva Jayate” is set to be released on the coming eid that is on 13th May in theatres. I am sure this movie will prove to be an exciting watch and you will mark your calendars for John's next release. Until then stay tuned to know about what’s cooking around.
