Who doesn’t want glowing, flawless skin? Our skin condition changes every day with every kind of season. Other than the external factors, there are several other internal reasons like hormonal changes, PCOS, stress, etc that can affect your skin drastically. But yet, we cannot always afford to maintain the skincare routine due to the busy, hectic lifestyle. And still, we desire for the radiant glow.
Â
Even though this might seem a bit exaggerated, but if our face looks dull, we don’t feel the best as well. We might not like taking pictures or compare ourselves with those online, or just rely wholly on filters.
Â
So, keeping all this in mind we bring to you the best skincare everyday routine, which you need to follow religiously for promising results. Please note that before you buying skincare or cosmetic products, it is always advisable to consult a dermatologist especially in the case of sensitive or acne-prone skin.
1. CLEANSE YOUR SKIN TO KICK OUT THE EXTRA OIL AND DIRT
Â
This goes without saying, but start your skincare routine by keeping your skin clean, dirt-free, and pollutant-free. Clean your skin twice a day, because over the course of half a day, even if you stay at home, pollutants automatically accumulate and clog your skin pores. Choose one that does not have much fragrance and has fewer chemicals. Use cold water instead of hot water to wash off the face, or else the hot water will pull out all the natural oils.
2. TONER TO HYDRATE YOUR SKIN
Â
After you are done washing your face, you will feel dryness on your skin. That’s when you will realize that your skin is demanding some moisture. Use a mild toner and apply it all over your face using a cotton ball or fingertips. Wait for it to dry and get absorbed before you move on to the next step.
3. ANTIOXIDANT SERUMS FOR EXTRA NUTRITION
Â
Antioxidant serums are nutrient-rich, super-charged molecules that have the capacity to blunt the inflammatory responses which are induced by the skin due to ultraviolet rays and environmental pollutants. Their texture is quite thin so serums are very easy to apply. Many choose to skip this part since toner already does half of the work. But if your bias is a face serum, then obviously go for it.
4.UNDER EYE CREAM FOR DARK CIRCLES AND WRINKLES
Â
Why should you go for under-eye cream? The reason is simple. This helps to keep the under-eye area elastic and helps against collagen loss. Different brands offer different treatments, so choose your product wisely.
Â
5.MOISTURISER AND SUNSCREEN FOR THE OVERALL PROTECTION
Â
Even though moisturizing might come at the end, but this is nevertheless the most important step for all. After all the havoc that is wreaked on our skin by the ultraviolet rays and the environmental pollutants, it's very essential to lock in the hydration and therefore very crucial to apply moisturizer. This step shouldn’t be only restricted to the face but to the entire body. Apply when your skin is a bit damp.
You can either go for a sunscreen+moisturiser product or apply sunscreen as a separate step. Look for the SPF, depending on the weather of the place.
Â
Even though we are born with soft and flawless skin, over time we lose the shine due to external and internal factors. We know it's not always possible to maintain a healthy diet, but we can do what is under our control. You won't get your results in one day, but need to follow them strictly for at least a week to get optimum output.
