Unlike the earlier covid-19 strain, this novel coronavirus strain can travel even through the atmospheric air and is described as an air-born infection. Not only is this dangerous but also unimaginable in physical terms! You can imagine this as instead of getting to know your enemies you can’t even see them.
It is, therefore, strictly advised to wear masks and full sleeves clothes and wash hands frequently with sanitizers to avoid the spread of the infection.

Like the previously identified strain, initially, the virus causes fever, chills, and headaches. But between the time when the infection enters the body and spreads it is also found to cause the following unnoticed symptoms
- Conjunctivitis
Conjunctivitis is described as the inflammation of the eyelids which covers the eyeball. Since the blood vessels are inflamed, they appear to be reddish and pink. Though it is advisable to consult a doctor. In case of emergency, take precautionary medicines – ibuprofen, aspirin, and paracetamol.
- Skin Rashes
Surprisingly, the novel strain has been found to cause acute or chronic skin rashes in some people and it could be due to the hypersensitivity of the skin. The condition could be described as atopic dermatitis.
Moisturizing lotions and medications containing diphenhydramine would be able to provide sufficient itch relaxation and relief from the rash pain in a short period.
- Discoloring of fingers and toes
One of the prominent signs of the novel strain infection could be the discoloration of the fingers and the toes. This sign isn’t visible in all cases but has been found in many cases of viral infection. After the successful treatment of the viral infection, the skin-altered pigmentation can be restored using creams, and ointments containing hydroquinone.
- Sore Throat
While the majority of viral infections result in a sore throat-like condition, the novel strain does the same! Within a few days after getting infected one can experience itchiness in the throat and that is the hallmark sign of the sore throat. Certain sprays are available to provide relief from the pain. The medications that could probably be used should contain acetaminophen, ibuprofen, Advil, and naproxen.
