Menstruation is one such change and during the time of the menstrual surge, we experience a lot of mood swings and hunger pangs! So, the following is the article which tells you about what should you eat to satisfy your hunger issues during periods!
- Sweet Products
In order to keep yourself calm, composed, and in a good mood try eating sweet and healthy products like chocolate cakes, smoothies, yogurt, energy bites, and soft drinks such as Frooti during periods.
- Short Snacks
Try having short snacks instead of the long and usual ones during periods, as it will not only fulfill your desire to eat more but will also keep you occupied from the feeling of restlessness! So, why not keep sweet corns and nachos on your side table?

It is absolutely okay if you want to have beverages like Cold coffee and Tea quite often! It's your time, enjoy it with good beverages.
One of the important beverage consumables during this time is lemon juice!
- Chocolate Cravings!
Scientifically, it has been found that chocolate has rich anti-oxidant content and also helps to release happy hormones like dopamine, serotonin during periods and can also be an energy booster which you should consider having!
- Rice Diet!
Whenever you are down, try having diets including rice as a major part of the meal as not only is it a Good Source of Energy and protein but also has potent Diuretic and Digestive properties
Apart from having short and frequent diets, make you that you are well hydrated as it will not only balance your food water level but will also help you restore the energy level that you have been losing on!
