Undoubtedly, the 63rd Grammy’s had a lot of drama and controversies sparked. From ARMYs calling them out for using BTS for clouting to the non-nomination of Zayn and The Weeknd, people have already labeled the Grammys as “The Scammys”. Twitter was flooded with tweets claiming the unethical ways of choosing the winners, and their stark favoritism towards artists.
Even though the 2021 Grammys went virtual, still the show didn’t lose its charm (keeping aside the post-show situation). People were pretty excited and were waiting for the show eagerly. And what makes the show more glamourous is its red carpet celebrity outfits. We can’t deny the fact that Grammy outfits have always been one of the most talked-about outfits and this year is no exception.
Hence, we couldn’t resist but search for the best dresses and who were adorned with the same. Have a look yourself.
1. Megan Thee Stallion in Orange Glow
Megan Thee Stallion was the hot girl lighting up the red carpet in a vibrant Dolce & Gabbana gown with a mega slit and bow on the back, matched with diamond Chopard jewels. The rapper was beaming after her pre-ceremony win for the best rap performance for her song “Savage” remix with Beyonce.
2. Taylor Swift as the Floral Girl
Designed by Oscar de la Renta, Tay’s floral dress totally matched the spring vibes. Even though many might just comment that it was just a simple mini dress, but the multi-colored flowers caught our eyes immediately. Paired with baby pink shoes, the dress was the epitome of excellent embroidery work.
3. DaBaby wrapped up in Dolce & Gabbana
Rapper and nominee DaBaby was another star who stepped out in a custom Dolce & Gabbana suit with intricate embroidery and signature accessories, along with the matching hat, not to mention he shared a sweet moment on the red carpet with a special date.
4. Dua Lipa in a Slit Gorgeousness
Nominee Dua Lipa had us levitating in a sparkling sheer Versace number, with butterfly detailing, which as she explained on the red carpet is an important symbol to her. The "Don't Start Now" singer finished off the look with sleek hair and matching pink eyeshadow.
5. Rising Star Ingrid Andress
Hollywood's new rising star Ingrid Andress made her Grammy's debut in a satin white Giorgio Armani suit with a sultry chainmail top which was perfect for the star-studded event.
So, these were our top five picks from the 2021 Grammys. Which one did you think was the best and was an absolute head-turner?
