The endless hours of strolling through Instagram, looking at the happy pictures of other people’s lives, makes us question ourselves. The achievements of people on LinkedIn, make us feel upset about our life choices, and all in all, we deteriorate our health – which is our most valuable asset!

It’s very important to remind oneself that life is about living and hence you can try this one-week self-care detox challenge to detox your mind, body, and life!

1 Week Self-Care and Detox Challenge!

 

Monday

  • For Detox Drink – Lemon Water and Cucumber
  • Breakfast Smoothie – Berry Smoothie – Take 2 frozen bananas, ½ cup frozen raspberries, ½ cup frozen strawberries, ½ cup grated beetroot. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve with seeds and nuts for your choice.
  • Task – Do 1 hour of cardio at home. Take a long bath and do skincare.

Tuesday

  • For Detox Drink – A Warm Cup Of Cumin Water
  • Breakfast Smoothie –Mango Smoothie – Take 1 frozen banana, 2 frozen mangoes (cut in cubes), ½ cup plain yogurt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve with seeds and nuts of your choice.
  • Task – Clean the sheets, kitchen, and wardrobe cupboards. Make your favorite dessert.

Wednesday

  • Detox Drink – Herbal Tea
  • Breakfast Smoothie – Kiwi Smoothie – Take 2 frozen kiwis, frozen kale, 1 tbsp matcha powder, 1 frozen pear. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve with seeds and nuts for your choice.
  • Task – Do 1 hour of yoga, deep breathing exercises. Listen to music from your childhood.

Thursday

  • For Detox Drink – Lemon Water and Mint
  • Breakfast Smoothie – Blue Smoothie – Take 1 frozen banana, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 tbsp spirulina powder. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve with seeds and nuts for your choice.
  • Task – Wake up early to see the sunrise and watch the sunset as well. Call an old friend and relive the old memories through the conversation.

Friday

  • For Detox Drink – Lemon and Ginger Water with Honey(If Required)
  • Breakfast Smoothie – Oatmeal Smoothie – Take 1 frozen banana, 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup coconut milk, 1 tbsp honey. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve with seeds and nuts for your choice.
  • Task – Go for an early morning run. Make yourself a lavish breakfast.

 

Saturday

  • For Detox Drink –Butterfly Pea Tea
  • Breakfast Smoothie – Tropical Smoothie – Take ½ frozen pineapple, 1 frozen mango (cut in cubes),1 frozen banana. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve with seeds and nuts for your choice.
  • Task – Stay in your PJs all day. Have a movie night with your loved ones at home.

Sunday

  • For Detox Drink – Green Tea with Lemon
  • Breakfast Smoothie – Peanut Butter Smoothie – Take 2 frozen bananas, ½ cup peanut butter, 1 ½ cup milk. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve with seeds and nuts of your choice.
  • Task – Wear a fancy outfit. Treat yourself to something you’re wanting for a long time. Stand in front of a mirror and give affirmations to yourself.

Throughout the week, don’t forget to be understanding towards others and gentle with yourself. Eat healthy, exercise, and have enough sleep. Have healthy discussions and make lots of friends. Have a great week!
