In India, many festivals are celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. But the most favorite of all is 'Holi'. It brings joy and happiness to our lives every year. Holi is known as 'Festival of colors’ or 'Festival of love'. Every year Holi is celebrated in March. It is a festival which brings all the friends and family together and brings color in their faded lives. Holi is the most favorite for children. They love playing with colors, water balloons.

During Holi, many traditional dishes are prepared. In India, every festival brings happiness to our hearts as well as happiness to the mouth, with all the delicious foods. People prepare many food items like Gujiyas, Dahi Bhalla, Papri, Kachoris, etc. All these items are fried and contain lots of oils. So, when it comes to preparing it you should always use healthy cooking oil. Celebrating the festival by taking care of your health is most important. Unhealthy oils can cause health issues. So, here are some good and healthy oils you can use to prepare the food.
- Mustard oil
It is used for cooking purposes as it stimulates digestion and circulation. It has an antibacterial property, which helps in protecting the skin. It fights germs and viruses and prevents cold and cough.
- Olive oil
It contains antioxidants that reduce pain in the joints. It also lowers the risk of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. It is very healthy for the heart and protects the heart from a stroke.

- Groundnut oil
It contains high levels of mono-unsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA). These help in lowering the level of cholesterol.
