Take a few spoons of aloe vera gel and few drops of the tea tree oil (maybe 3 spoons of gel and 7-8 drops of oil). Mix properly and pour them into an ice tray and freeze. Aloe Vera offers a calming effect that perfectly complements the strong and antibacterial oil. Rub the cubes before going to sleep, so that they can work overnight.
- Sliced Up Potatoes
The starch present in potatoes helps reduce redness and swelling, and it is also full of Vitamin C. This prevents from forming any dark spots after the pimple has subsided.
Cut a thin slice of the potato and pat it on your affected areas for a few minutes. You will notice that the silver of the potato has managed to reduce the redness and calm down the inflammation at the same time.
- Green Tea For Your Face
The calming and soothing effects of green tea aren't just for your body and mind. The anti-inflammatory properties of green tea also help to heal stubborn acne.
Cool your soaked tea bag in the fridge, and when you are done, place it on top of the affected area for an hour. You can also make a bottle of green tea and spray it all over your face once the heat evaporates.
- Honey As Your Best Friend
We already know that you are not the only one suffering from the acne problem, but every alternate person out there suffers the same. Not only oily skins are the main reasons behind the outbreak of acne, but dry skin as well.
And for that, honey is your knight in shining armor. Honey is hugely regarded as a hydrating element for every kind of dry skin. It has got antibacterial properties that target your acne/pimples deeply and help you fight them off. Simply apply a dab of honey over your acne spot and let it sit for hours.
- Garlic As An Ingredient For Your Skin
Garlic is famous for its all-purpose cures. Mash two garlic cloves into a paste and mix it with some rose water to protect your skin from over-drying. This mixture may not smell the greatest, but it will help heal your skin.
