The start of the day is always very important. It determines the direction you will be heading to. The motivation you would be carrying. And the goals you will be achieved throughout. But how will you start your day?
We generally wake up and start scrolling our Insta feed or reply to messages from last night. This is where we are doing it wrong. We tend to start comparing and get demotivated since the first minute. Hence, it is important to curb that down.
Now that you are here, let's look at the morning routine tips that will change your life for the better.
- Keep Your Phone Away From You
The first and foremost step to start your day is to keep your phone away. Either use a traditional alarm clock or a small phone where you won't be scrolling your feed. This way you will save many minutes of the day and have a motivating morning. Make a mental plan for the day ahead. Recall your goals and errands for the day.
- Start With A Healthy Food
Always remember breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It will give you much-needed energy. So dump the food from last night and make something fresh. Have a glass of warm water, honey, and lemon. This potion also helps to reduce the extra calories.
- Exercise or Meditate
Just 5 mins of exercise are enough to start your day. This will aid you to get into the mood to go through the day. Again, meditation is also something that helps a lot of people. This will get you in the mindset of working properly and be enthusiastic about the work ahead. It is also important to note that don’t exhaust yourself with the workout. The light ones will do the needful.
- Make a To-Do List
We cannot emphasize enough this enough, but To-Do Lists always help. It will not only help you prioritize things, but also divide your time efficiently. This way you will have minutes for every work and you can also fulfill your long-yearned plans. We recommend you to make a proper timetable in a notebook and carry it around. But of course, it is not always possible to maintain strict timings but try to complete the work closer to the time allotted.
- Read Motivational Books
Books are the water to your brain. Choose the ones that will motivate you. This way you will be more focused on your goals. If you think you cant take out time for reading, go through motivational quotes. Write them down in your diary and read them aloud.
