Masking is a great way to pamper your skin and enhance it naturally. Peels, masks, and exfoliators available in the market have chemicals in them and might not be ideal for skin as they can have side effects and you may not even see any good results. Hence DIY masks should be your go-to as they don’t have any side effects.
Â
Here are 3 masks for your skin that you can make at home and won’t cost you any extra pennies.
Â
1) Moisturized and Hydrated Skin
-Ingredients Required: Avocado, Banana and Honey.
-How to Make: Mash half an avocado and half a banana in a bowl. To this add a small tablespoon of honey. Mix the three ingredients to make a paste and leave it on the skin for 8-10 minutes. Wash face with water and you will get a supple and moisturized face. Avocado is rich in Vitamins A, D, and E and restores oils naturally.
Â
2) Brightening and De-tanning
-Ingredients Required: Lemon, Gram Flour and Wild Turmeric.
-How to Make: Squeeze the Juice of one lemon in a small bowl. To this add half tablespoon of gram flour and a pinch of wild turmeric. If you don’t have wild turmeric, you can use normal turmeric as well. Mix the three ingredients to get a very liquid consistency. Apply this on your face and let it dry. Once dried, wash your face with cold water and pat dry. It will leave your skin bright and clear. This mask is also good if you have pigmentation.

3) Acne and Oil-Free Skin
-Ingredients Required: Lemon, Honey and Oatmeal.
-How to Make: Take the juice of one Lemon in a bowl. Add one small tablespoon of honey and add one spoon of oatmeal to this. Make a paste and apply it to the face. Let it dry out. Once dried out, take small quantities of water and exfoliate this as you remove it. This would remove the dead skin cells along with the excess sebum and oil. It gives an oil-free clear skin with multiple applications.
