There is no better surety of failing than not giving it a shot!!
Some people are afraid of failures, others are afraid of success. The grip of fear paralyzes actions, avoiding people to go for risks and new opportunities. But remember, we're not born with fears, they're all learned. They can be shrunk easily. So don't let fear holds you back this year.
Here's your ticket to overcoming your fears and anxiety!

- Get to know your fear:
How can you deal with something you don't know even exist? Face your fear, learn about it, trace its pattern, figure out its cause. Knowing your fear better means half the job's done. This may be the hardest of all steps, but it is definitely the most important one.

- Embrace your fear:
A tool to help us make better decisions, fear keeps us active and helps us generate the results that we desire. Embrace your fear as an instructing tool, not a controlling one.

- Use peer pressure :
Remember as a child how we used to do our homework on time even without wanting to do so just because of peer pressure? Use this pressure in a positive way and engage with people who push you towards facing your fears and working on them so that you cannot be kept away from what you want.

- Try deep breathing:
Short breaths usually lead to anxiety attacks. The moment you feel yourself becoming fearful, just stop and focus solely on your breathing. Exhale longer than you inhale, maintain this pattern for few moments till you feel relaxed. There is no trick, deep breathing increases the physical calmness of the body.

- Nature is your best therapist:
It's a normal routine to see your therapist when you feel anxious or afraid. But you can't be at his office all the time. So why not try the natural therapist available for all of us, nature! Greenery, colorful flowers, gardens, backyards, all of them will help you reduce the stress levels and symptoms of fear.
Moreover, a clearer thinking pattern develops with jogging and walking. This is really helpful in getting the fears out of your head and calming your brain.

The best way to overcome any fear is to have a face-off with it! Be willing to befriend it, confront it, and don't let it manipulate your actions. As Shakespeare rightly said, "Take arms against a sea of troubles, and in so doing, end them." Elevate your self-esteem and personal pride and don't let fear kill your hustle before you even get moving.
